After picking up our unfinished bus, Daisy, from the builder in Tucson, we hit the road to Phoenix and then on to Quartzsite, AZ. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster—panic attacks, PTSD struggles, and trying to hold it all together. With no bedding or supplies, we made an impromptu stop at Target where the kids got to choose their new bedding. Finally, we arrived at our campsite, ready to tackle the mess we’ve been left with.

It’s Moving Day and Plans Have Changed…Again

Moving day has arrived, and nothing is going as planned. As we say goodbye to our homestead, freezing temperatures have thrown a wrench into everything. Blue Betty isn’t road-ready, and in a shocking twist, we’re loading up a U-Haul instead of hitting the road in our bus.

This unexpected change has us reevaluating everything, including what’s next for our journey. We’re heading south toward Tucson, AZ, but let’s just say the road ahead is full of challenges and surprises. There’s more to this story—something big and completely unexpected is happening—but you’ll have to wait for the next video to find out.

Hey framily! The call finally came, and we couldn’t be more excited—but also a little overwhelmed. We have just TWO DAYS to pack up everything and hit the road from northern New Mexico to southern Arizona. And guess what? Nothing is packed!

It’s an all-hands-on-deck kind of day, and we’re so glad you’re here to lend a hand. Jenn’s tackling a mountain of laundry and sorting through endless kid-stuff to donate, while Kyle’s outside taking down the old bus skirting. The kids are diving into cleaning out their bunks and helping wherever they can—it’s a family affair!
